Smash is one of those rare shows I've heard about where I've though, "Yeah, so maybe it would be cool to have Sky." And coincidentally, I only watched Blackpool for the first time last week (I saw no telly at all for much of the 2000s - I'm still catching up). It was brilliant, except for the ending, which I hated and ranted about for a full ten minutes. I so desperately wish there was more British television drama which took big risks around story telling.
