C – Someone else is pregnant
Clearly, whatever the situation here you have lost, because what you are doing is against the natural laws of both god and man and you are probably doomed for all eternity. However, let’s examine a few of the possibilities.
- You are having a surrogate baby which someone else is carrying. Hmm. This is unusual, and therefore suspect, but you can probably get away with it. Although it will go horribly wrong, because things that are Not Normal always go horribly wrong.
- You are two gay men who are adopting. Everyone knows that two men can’t bring up a child. You probably don’t even know how to change a nappy. And your child will grow up without a female role model, so he or she will be hyper-masculine. No, wait, hyper-feminine, because you’re two gay men. Well, something will be wrong, anyway. Um…
- A friend, relative, or person-you-are dating is having a baby, and you are reading parenting books in order to help them look after said baby, or because you are planning to co-parent with them. Well done you. You might even get some societal approval, if for example it’s your sister having the baby and you’re planning to help raise it. Good.
